SATURDAY’S MATCHES The hockey competitions were continued on Saturday, two men’s senior matches being played at Tonga Park, and three women’s senior matches at the Oval. The men’s senior match between University B and University C and the womens match between University and Kings will be played later. The results were as follows: ( ) Men’s Matches Senior.— University A 2, Albany 1; Air Force 5, Training College 3. Junior. —Technical Old Boys 6, Training College 1. Women’s Matches Senior.— Training College I 6, Mompna 3; Bounty 3, Otago 1; Dunedin 6, Training College II 1. „ „ . Intermediate. Columba ' College 4, Mcmona nil. _ _ „ _ B Grade.— Training College 6, O.G.H.S. nil; Taieri 7, Columba College nil; Otago 1. Dunedin nil. „ „ C Grade.— Training College 6, Momona n *The play In the match between the two unbeaten teams, Training College I and Momona, was very even in the first half, thfe score being 2—all. Training College, however, proved to be the fitter team, and added three goals in the final stages. Superior combination in a team which has played together for several seasons proved to be the winning factor in the match In which Bounty beat Otago. Dunedin, in the game against Training College 11, showed better’ form than in previous matches this season.
