ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
COLLISION WITH BUS Private Herbert Vince, aged 39, who is stationed at a local camp, was admitted to the Hospital yesterday morning with leg injuries which were received when the motor cycle he was riding struck the rear portion of a bus on the Portobello road. His condition is satisfactory. His home is at 139 Black’s road. SMALL BOY INJURED Keith Graham Wilson, aged 12, who lives .'With his parents at 13 Larnach street, Mosgiel, was admitted to' the Dunedin Hospital at 6.30 p.m. yesterday suffering from injuries to his left' knee, received when he fell while returning from school. TRACTOR FATALITY (P.A.) WANGANUI, Apl. 19. Ivan Trevor Vernon, aged 30, married. with two children, was killed instantly this afternoon when he was struck on the head by an overturning tractor during top-dressing operations on a farm at Turakina Valley, near Wanganui. Another man was slightlyinjured.
