SOCIAL FUNCTION
MEN OF 2nd N.Z.E.F. Organised by a special committee of the Dunedin R.S.A., an enjoyable social evening for returned men of the 2nd N.Z.E.F. was held on Thursday evening last in the association’s' social hall. Dancing occupied the greater part of the programme, the numbers being interspersed with vocal, elocutionary, and novelty items presented by well-known local artists. Supper was served. It is the intention of thp committee to hold social functions for returned servicemen at frequent intervals, and it Is hoped that the proceeds of the first few of these functions tvlll allow later ones to be promoted free of charge to all returned men of the 2nd N.Z.E.F.
