FIVE SHARKS KILLED
SHOT IN SYDNEY HARBOUR SYDNEY, Dec. 29.
Three soldiers shot five sharks in Sydney Harbour. All were grey nurses and were clearly visible on the harbour floor after they had been killed.
Record holiday crowds, estimated at 250,000, thronged Sydney beaches yesterday. At three beaches shark alarms sent surfers from the water.
