PRISONERS OF WAR
BRITISH AIRMEN IN JAPAN RUGBY, Dec. 2. The Secretai'y for Air. Sir Archibald Sinclair, informed the House of Commons that, while he had no information concerning the number of R.A.F. prisoners of war in Japan, efforts were being made to obtaiix such information from Japan through either the protecting Power or the International Red Cross. The Minister said the Japanese broadcasts of the names of prisoners taken at Singapore and elsewhere in the Far East were ofteix misleading or inaccurate. Relatives were informed by the service authority concex'ixed as soon as the names were supplied.
