PORT CHALMERS HARMONICA BAND
The fift'ii annual meeting of the Port Chalmers Harmonica Band was held last week. Mr W. Matson occupied the chair. Members stood in silence as a mark »if respect to a deceased bandsman, R. H. Clark. The report and balance sheet having been adopted, the following office-bearers were elected for the ensuing, year:—President, Mr W. Leftwich; vice-presidents Messrs W. Henderson and W. Waugh; secretary, Mr A. Erdman; bandmaster, Mr W. F. Matson; drum major, Mr G. Maher; sergeant. Mr F. Gibbs; corporal,' Mr C. Smith; trustees, Messrs A.rErdman and W. Waugh; auditors, Messrs T. Skilbeck and J. McMillan; committee—Miss P. Wilson, Miss K. Gardner. Messrs T. Skilbeck, J. McMillan, W. Waugh, F. Erdman, F. Gibbs, and G. James; patrons—Mrs Fraser, Dr Edgar, Messrs A. Munro, L.
