LIFE SAVING
MEETING OF SOCIETY The report of the Otago branch of the Royal Life-saving Society, which was presented at the meeting last night, stated that under the handicap of losing many willing workers who are in the fighting services or in training, the society has managed to carry on satisfactorily with instruction classes, and' in the instruction of classes in artificial respiration operations have been both extensive and successful. Practically all the emergency services have been handled, as well as some civilian classes, and as the work is still going on apace, there is room for still more instructors, especially for women's classes.
