NAVAL AWARDS
NEW ZEALANDERS DECORATED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 14. The Navy Department has received advice that Stoker Bruce Evans 'Bennett, a New Zealander, has been awarded the Distinguished Service Medal for gallant service in successful patrols while serving in the submarine Torbay. The D.S.M. has also been awarded to Able Seaman A. Horsfall, R.N.Z.N., for good service in attacks on enemy ships. Lieutenant-commander R. S. Cameron, R.N.Z.V.R., has been mentioned in despatches for good service in mine-sweeping.
