DAILY INTERCESSION
"The children of men take refuge under the shadow of Thy wings." • 0 God, in Thee alone is our help found. Thou wilt be our hiding-place in the time of trouble. Save us from our-enemies and from the hand of them that hate us. Thou art our helper and deliverer; make Thy face to shine upon us. Give victory to our arms, we humbly beseech Thee, and bring to nought the counsels of the wicked We draw near with contrition, of heart for our. many failures m obedience to Thy truth. Deliver us from all undue self-confidence arid from the pride of life, and enable us with x quiet and steadfast courage to wage the warfare laid, upon us. Inspire with high faith oil ; . who,' at home or overseas, strive, together in the common cause. And make us at all times to know that Thou, the Eternal God, art our refuge and strength. Amen.
