SHOWERY AND CHANGEABLE • Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago for the ensuing 24- hours was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Moderate to strong and variable winds, withi south-easterlies to southeriles later predominating; weather cloudy, with scattered rain or drizzle; temperatures cool; further outlook, showery and changeable. Weather in Dunedin.—The weather in Dunedin on Saturday was cool, with overcast skies and rain, and low temperatures. The barometer remained high and steady during the day, the noon reading being 3050 inches (1023 millibars). The maximum thermometer reading was 47 degrees. The wintry conditions continued throughout yesterday. Rain fell almost continuously throughout the day, and temperatures were cold. The barometer remained steady, the midnight reading being 30.00 inches (1016 millibars). The following are the meteorological observations taken at the week-end at the Daily Times office:— SATURDAY
