MANCHESTER UNITY

Despite adverse circumstances, all city and suburban lodges are continuing to function admirably, due very largely to the support of past officers, many of whom had not been actively engaged in lodge work for a considerbale period prior to the outbreak k of war. Continuous appeals are being made to others who are in a position to give some assistance, however small. Members of Princess Mary Lodge are particularly active. Loyal Caversham continues to have good jneelings. Prince of Wales has changed its place of meeting, and Loyal Valley, though small in numbers, is also having good meetings. It was reported at the meeting of Loyal Albion that 120 of its members were now serving with the forces. The combined Social Committee is doing good work.
