ITEMS FROM REPORTS Among the matters which will come before the City Council at its meeting on Monday night are the following:— Water Heating Charges The Electricity Committee port at the meeting of the “ity Council on Monday that the recent change from two-monthly to quarterly readings has created a difficulty in the charging-of units used'for water heating during the winter months. The transport manager’s .statement'of traffic revenue shows that during the period April 1 to April 25, compared with the corresponding period oMast year, the revenue has increased by £ 1231, or 8.13 per cent. Street Improvements The city engineer has been authorised to complete the widening, Whiling, footway, and ' kerbing work in Crosby street, on r the south side, between :Qlen.avenue and Lesney street, arid also the shifting of the present kerbing in Glen avenjie, ab.Qve.
