“CRAZY SHOW”

WILLIAMSON PRODUCTION Speed, Variety, comedy, dancing and snappy sketches, presenting life at it's brightest, is the end sought by the Great Levante in the London Palladium production, “ Crazy Show,” which will be staged by arrangement with J. C. Williamson, Ltd., at His Majesty’s Theatre for a brief season, beginning on May 27. .; No money has been spared to make “Crazy Show” the best and most .entertaining production yet staged' in New Zealand by the J, C. Williamson management. In addition to the 50 overseas artists in the company the engagement of George Tollerton and his feature act, “Chuckles with Jerry,” is bound to, prove a big attraction. The success of “ Crazy Show ” is due to a large extent to the splendid team work of the six brilliant comedians and the other members of the company, including Doris Whimp, Ronnie Shand, Joe Corelli, Esme Levante, Robert Butt, Ursula Irving, Laurie Long, Joe Valli and Ed Edwards, the latter a notable London comedian. The production includes many exceptional interludes, humorous sketches and song scenes, and another feature of the presentation is the dancing of a beautiful bevy of charming and brilliant Australian ballerinas. Talented instrumentalists will also be heard in a musical scene entitled “ Gypsy.” There are, also several first-class vocalists and specialty tap dancers. The box plans will open at the D.I.C. on May 25.
