DRILLING FOR OIL
OPERATIONS AT NEW PLYMOUTH (P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Apl. 20. Drilling on the new site selected by the New Zealand Petroleum Company at New Plymouth began to-day, the plant having been transferred quickly from Midhirst, where operations ceased seven weeks ago. More than 1000 tons of equipment has been moved and reassembled. It is understood that drilling will continue round the clock in three shifts daily.
