PORT MORESBY BOMBED ENEMY AIRCRAFT (Rec. 2 a.m.) CANBERRA, Feb. 24. The Minister for Air, Mr A. S. Drakeford, announced to-night that Port Moresby, New Guinea, was bombed this morning by enemy aircraft. A medium force of bombers, accompanied by fighters, took part, flying over the area in two waves. Buildings were hit, but no damage of importance was done.
