MAIN EVENT TO MAHAINA (P.A.) HAWERA. Feb. 7. The first day of the Egmont Racing Club's meeting was held in ideal weather before a large attendance. The track was fast and the totalisator handled £21,913 10s. as against £20,275 for the first day last year. Results:— Ohawe Hurdles, of £l2O.
