HELPING THE SERBS
A NEW ZEALAND UNIT ASSISTED BY GREEK PEOPLE (Rec 0.55 a;m.) NEW YORK, Feb. 5. A New Zealand unit is fighting with General Mihailovitch’s army of Serbian guerrillas in Jugoslavia, says the Lisbon correspondent of the Christian Science Monitor. After their defeat in Greece the New Zealanders Hid in the hills for months and then trekked to Jugoslavia and linked with the guerrilla army, the correspondent states. Their travelling was mostly done at night, and they were guided, fed and armed by the Greek populace, who risked their lives to help them. - '
