RESUMPTION OF SESSION (F.0.P.R.) WELLINGTON,. Feb. 5. The session of Parliament which was opened in December was resumed by the House of Representatives to-day. An outline of the business --to be transacted was given by the Prime Minister, Mr P. Fraser, who said it should be possible to finish by next Thursday. The only legislation to come before the House at the present sitting would be a measure making regular the appointment of Ministers and members of the House to positions representing the Government and his Majesty overseas. At the afternoon sitting, which lasted about an hour and a-half, the new member for, the Bay of Plenty, Mr W. Sullivan (Opposition), was sworn in, but Mrs M. V. Grigg (Opposition), who was recently returned unopposed as the member for MidCanterbury, was not present. It is expected that she will take her place in the House on Tuesday.
