Newsprint Supplies Because of new demands on shipping, a 10 per cent, cut in newsprint supplies in Great Britain is expected at the beginning of March. This will probably mean two-page papers one day a week, or heavy circulation cuts. To Play for England O. W. Knight, of the R.N.Z.A.F., has been selected to represent England against Wales in the first services international Rugby match, at Swansea on February 28. Vichy's Troubles Vichy reports that a shortage of raw materials and fuel has created a grave situation in French industry. M. Francois Lehideux. the Secretary of Public Works, said: " We have no more coal, petrol, cement, steel and even water to feed turbines." Enemy Tanker Bombed An Air Ministry communique states: "Late on Monday afternoon, off'the coast of Brittany, Beaufort aircraft of the Coastal Command attacked an enemy tanker escorted by patrol vessels. It was not possible to observe the result of the attack. Two of our aircraft are missing." New Canadian Division
Brigadier-general Fredericks Worthington, states a message from Washington,- has been appointed commander of the new Canadian armoured division.
