ALIENS IN AUSTRALIA
RESTRICTIONS ON MOVEMENTS SYDNEY, Jan. 28. The police are active under the National Security Regulations, and announced that aliens in future would not, without a police permit, be permitted to move from the suburb in which they resided to any other district except for employment, medical. or educational reasons. There are 20.000 aliens at large in New South Wales, over 2000 of whom reside in Darlinghurst and adjacent suburbs.
