LIEUT.-COLONEL \V. N. PHARAZYN ACCOMPANYING MR NASH (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 29. The military appointments gazetted to-night include that of Major (Temporary) W. N. Pharazyn, who relinquishes his appointment on the New Zealand temporary staff and is reposted to New Zealand Artillery and seconded for duty with the New Zealand Minister in Washington, Mr W. Nash. Major Pharazyn has also been granted the temporary rank of lieu-tenant-colonel whilst so employed. Before taking up military duties, Lieutenant-colonel Pharazyn was prominent in the Labour movement as a trade union organiser and secretary.
