FAIR AND MILD Forecast for Otago.—The following is the official weather forecast for Otago. for the ensuing 24 hours, issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Moderate winds from a northerly quaiter predominating; weather fair to fine; temperatures moderate to mild. Further Outlook.—North-westerlies freshening somewhat; weather mainly fair and mild. Weather in Dunedin.—Bright sunshine prevailed throughout yesterday, with a moderate breeze from, the norttti-east. The maximum temperature was 74 degrees. The barometer rose. slightly during the day, the midnight reading being 30.00 inches (1016 millibars).
