TAIERI TRANSPORT SERVICES

TO THE EDITOH Sir, —With reference to the letter from Messrs Lobb and Bacon in Monday's issue stating that they are keeping strictly to their run and have not taxied since the petrol restrictions, I ' would like to ask these questions: (1) Is it true that on Saturday night, January 24, 1942, the bus at the last train taxied a certain person down the Wingatui road? (2) Did the bus taxi people living at Mossburn on November 19 and December 2, 1941? Finally (3) has a certain person who usually arrives by the 11.50 train, been taxied quite often to his residence down Bush road? The places I have mentioned, to my knowledge, are definitely not on the bus service's usual run.—l am, etc. An Old Resident.
