REPRESENTATIVE CRICKET
ABANDONMENT SUGGESTED The New Zealand Cricket Council has recommended to affiliated associations that no representative matches .be played this season, and it seems likely that the recommendation will be acted upon. No doubt' it will be considered by the regular meeting of the Otago Association tonight. The adoption of the suggestion would mean for Otago the abandonment of the Otago-Canterbury and the OtagoSou'thland fixtures.'
