ST. PHILOMENA'S COLLEGE
The annual " break-up " party of St. Philomena's College Ex-pupils' Association was held in the Somerset Lounge on Tuesday night. After the president, Miss G. Toomey. had extended a welcome to the large number of ex-pupils and friends present, the following programme was presented:— Orchestra; vocal solos, Miss J. Cardno; ■play-reading, "In Waltz Time," produced by Miss E. Houston; violin solos, Miss J. Harris; vocal trio—Misses R. Herlihy, M. O'Connell, and J. Harris; humorous sketch, "Story Without Words." Mrs J. Faulks and Miss E. Houston: vocal numbers, ex-pupils' choir; play-reading, "As a Matter. of Fact." produced by Mrs J. Faulks. A social half-hour followed, during which supper was served. An enjoyable evening concluded with the singing of "Auld Lang Syne."
