ROYAL MALE CHOIR
On Monday, in the Town Hall, the Royal Dunedin Male Choir will present its Christmas concert, assisted by the girls of the King Edward Technical College Choir. In the second half of the programme the two choirs will present music arranged by Dr T. Vernon Griffiths, the carols " O Come All Ye Faithful," "While Shepherds Watched," the hymn " Turn Back, O Man" (an arrangement by Dr Griffiths), and " Laus Deo," which was specially composed by Dr Galway for and dedicated to Dr Griffiths, and the college. The girls themselves will be heard in a bracket of three part numbers, " The First Nowell" and " Drink to me Only." The final number will be the festival carol " Ring Out. Wild Bells." The whole of the first half will be occupied by Maunder's fine work, " The Martyrs," in which the soloists will be Mr Edward Benton, Mr Roland Dunbar, and Master Jack Wilkinson. The lady soloist for the concert will be the wellknown contralto, Miss Bertha Rawllnson, whose item will be "Softly Awakes My Heart-"
