ONSLOW LADIES' GOLF CLUB

The Onslow Ladies' Golf Club brought a successful season to a close last Thursday. In the afternoon a Sealed Holes Match was played for trophies given by Mrs J. Howley. Members and friends were afterwards entertained at afternoon tea by Mrs Maclean and Mrs Pinkham. In the evening Mrs R. F. Allan (president), Mrs L. M. Wright (vice-president), and Mrs C. E. Begg (club captain) invited members to a trump whist party in the Tudor Lounge. After supper, the trophies won during the year were presented as follows: —Closing day trophies—Mrs Pinkham and Mrs Hogan; consolation, Miss Jamieson and Mrs Evans; putting cup, Mrs Brown; Pinkham Trophy. Mrs Hogan; ringer trophy, Mrs Pinkham: Onslow Cup (Four-ball), Miss Jamieson and Mrs King; Margaret Adair Cup. Mrs J. Renton; Hudson Cup, Mrs J. Howley; L.G.U. Medal (bronze), Mrs Pink; runner-up (championship). Mrs G. Maclean; Club Championship, Mrs W. Pinkham. At ths inclusion of the presentation of trophies, Mrs Allan, on behalf of the members, presented Mrs Pinkham with a crystal rose bowl in recognition of her services as secretary
