SUNK BY TORPEDO
A BRITISH STEAMER CHILDREN AMONG VICTIMS (Rec. 11.30 p.m.) LONDON, Oct 14. The Oporto correspondent of, the British United Press reports that ,14 members of two British families from Oporto, Including TO children, were among those killed when , a British steamer bound for England was .torpedoed several, days ago. All the steamer’s passengers perished. The victims included James Cassel, a .member of a British firm in Oporto, hH wife and three children, Eric Bertrey. an employee of. a British;-fim—ic Oporto, his wife,' seven iahd father-in-law.
