HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR
SOUTHLAND BOYS' VISIT Intending patrons of the Choral Society’s concert in the Town Hall on Saturday night are reminded that the box plans are now available. The Southland Boys’ High School Choir, under its director, Mr Kennedy Black, is appearing hv invitation. This choir is an exceptionally fine one and has already been well received in Christchurch. Its repertoire is both attractive and varied. Mr Alfred Walmsley will conduct the Choral Society’s nortion of the concert, which .will include Dr James Lyon’s attractive work, *' The Warden of the Cinque Ports.” as well as a number of part-songs and choruses.
