FIGHTING IN THE EAST
THE CHINESE PLANS A COUNTER-OFFENSIVE (Rec. 8 p.m.) CHANGSHA, Oct 12 General Hsueh Yueh, commander in China's sixth war zone, said the Japanese were concentrating 32 divisions in Manchukuo to attack Siberia. Meanwhile the Japanese-China war had entered a new momentous phase, in which China would push f general counter-offensive. This would be the third stage of the war and China would drive the Japanese out, and Bute in, America and Russia would deal the knock-out blow.
