"DOCTORS' BILL"
CO-OPERATION IMPOSSIBLE DEPRIVED OF CIVIL RIGHTS (P.AJ NAPIER, Oct. 13. A meeting of the Hawke's Bay Division of the B.M.A. unanimously adopted the following resolution:— "That as the present Social Security Act has deprived the medical profession of its civil rights, it is impossible for the profession to co-operate with the Government in working the Act. These civil rights, of which the profession has been deprived under this Act. have been the inalienable privilege of all citizens of the British Empire since Magna Carta."
