CHINESE MISSION WORKER

OFFICIAL RECOGNITION For 11 years the Rev. Y. S. Chau has been working faithfully among the Chinese of Auckland with occasional visits to Chinese in other parts of the Dominion. Recently his work has received the official recognition of the Chinese Government in Chungking. He has been made a member of the Overseas Committee, the first to be appointed in New Zealand. The Consul-General of the Republic of China )•• New Zealand, Mr Wang Feng, has also written to the Missions Committee of the Presbyterian Church intimating that he has received commendation of Mr Chau from the Chinese Government and commenting on his splendid work among his countrymen by whom he is highly esteemed.
