MISSING MEN TRACED

AUSTRALIAN SOLDIERS MINISTER’S STATEMENT (Rec. 2 a.m.) CANBERRA, Sept. 18. More than 50 per cent, of soldiers originally posted missing have been traced, declared the Minister for the Army, Mr P. C. Spender, in the House of Representatives to-day. He explained that some hundreds of Australians had rejoined their units or had been located in hospitals. The remainder were prisoners of war in enemy countries.
