GERMAN SALVOES (Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 16. German long-range guns at Cap Gris Nez fired across the Straits of Dover at 9 p.m. after eight days' silence. Two-gun salvoes were fired for 17 minutes and were resumed half an hour later, when several more salvoes were fired.
