STAINLESS STEEL TEETH
The most disconcerting surprise for a reporter who boarded a Soviet freighter in Sydney recently was the smile of the first mate. It showed a set of false teeth of shining, stainless steel. It was explained that steel teeth were popular in Russia, their main advantage being their durability. The American boxer, Tod Morgan, had one stee] tooth when he arrived in Australia, but it was knocked out in a fight, and he chose the conventional porcelain tooth to replace it.
