COMMUNITY SING
Proceeds from the Dunedin community sing are for the " Comforts for Fighters" Fund, and listeners-in who enjoy the weekly sing are asked to send in donations, small or large, to Mr J. F. Himburg, C/o Begg's. As usual, the sing will be held in the Strand Theatre on Friday, commencing at noon, with Mr» H. P. Desmoulins as leader, and Mr A. Pettitt at the piano. Another good programme has been arranged, including an instrumental trio (two violins, Masters James Timlin and Glynn Adams, and piano, Audry Chipp), which will make its first appearance at the sing. Mrs Mclntyre, who has charge of the stall, would be pleased to receive flowers and goods. The committee has received a cross collie pup (male), and would be pleased to receive an offer for it.
