“MORALE”
TO THE EDITOR
Sir, —A few weeks ago the St. Kilda Borough Council issued a card (9in X 12Jin) on “Morale: How to Play'Your Part.” How much it cost does not matter, as long as if has done sAme good. But, Sir, are the Mayor and councillors doing their part, not forgetting that they have conveniently forgotten at all times to give our soldier boys a decent “send-off”? It is not top late for our new Mayor to show his hand. I would like to know, also, what the council has done for the only representative of its staff who enlisted in the First Echelon. Apparently the morale of St. Kilda councillors is very high. I would ask them to study and digest “ Morale ” in helping our soldier boys.—l am, etc.,-*. Jas. A. Carman. St... Kilda. June 14. ** ’ /
