The Lancashire and Yorkshire Society held another successful social last Saturday. The president (Mr F. D. Swift) was In the chair, and Mrs Macdoneli acted as accompanist for the evening A pleasant time was spent in community singing, competitions and games, interspersed by the following items:—Songs— Miss Ledgerwood, Miss June Applegate and Mr J.
