MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE The weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the Otago Football Association was held last night, the chairman (Mr M. K. Haig) presiding over an attendance of six members. „ , It was decided to hold over the final bracket of matches in the first round until opportunity arose to play them later, and to proceed with the second round on Saturday week. , , Mr W. M. Smith, the representative of the Referees’ Club on the committee, wrote advising that he had joined the air force, and accordingly wished to resign his position.—The resignation was accepted with regre t.—Mr P. George was appointed by the Referees' Club as the new repreClub wrote advising that referees would not be appointed for unofficial games, but suggested that one of the teams should be nominated in the draw to arrange for a referee.—.
