EAST AFRICAN CAMPAIGN

THE BRITISH FORCES INDIANS WELL REPRESENTED (Rec. 8 p.m.) RUGBY, June 14. In addition to Indian cavalry, eight regiments of the Indian Army are named by the War Office as having taken part in recent operations in East Africa. They are a Punjab regiment. a Sikh regiment, a Frontier Force regiment, the Frontier Force Rifles, the Rajputana, Rifles, the Royal Garwhal Rifles, the Mahratta Light Infantry, and a Baluch regiment. .Colonial forces which took part in the same campaign are given as the Sudan Defence Force, the King's African Rifles, a G6}d Coast regiment and a Nigeria regiment, while Cypriot and Palestinian units fought in Greece. It is estimated that 20,000 Italians are still holding out at Jimma, but they are not expected to resist much longer.
