THE FORERUNNER OF SNOW?
TO THE EDITOR Sir,—The exceptionally low barometer which we have had all this week is often in winter the forlrunner of a fall of snow, perhaps a heavy one. I have seen no such forecast in the newspapers. ‘ But would it not be worth while pointing out the possibility, even the probability, of such a happening?—! am, etc., Under 29. Dunedin, June 13.
