Mrs D. Solomon has returned from a visit to Wellington. Mrs N. Y. A, Wales is spending a few days in Gore. Dr Siedeberg McKinnon will return after the week-end from, a visit to her niece. Mrs E. O. Buxton," o: Foxton. Mrs William Day has returned to Christchurch from a three weeks’ visit to Dunedin, where she was the guest of Mrs John Hislop. of Roslyn. At the evening meeting on Wednesday of the Travel Club at the Savoy, Madame Winnie Fraser will deliver an address, and solos will be given by Mrs F. Hinton. Mrs Hall-Masters and Mr R. J. Laurenson. Mr and Mrs Charles V. Smith entertained the executive members of the Red Cross Society at a 5 o’clock party at their home on Tuesday to give members the opportunity of meeting Miss Tennent (commandant-in-chief of the Voluntary Aides) and Dr Will (Dominion chairman). Miss Rebecca Lazarus, F.T.C.L., who has been teaching in London and the provinces for the past four years, returned te New Zealand, the journey taking two months and a-half. Miss Lazarus will be the guest of her sister, Mrs L. Shenken, of St. Clair, during her stay in Dunedin. A pleasant evening was spent in the District Nurse’s' Rooms in Roslyn last Monday by members of the Roslyn detachment of the Red Cross. The guests of honour were Miss E. Wilkie, Mrs Bundle. Mrs Faulkner, Miss Nicolson and Miss Mcßean. Each section contributed an item, and a dainty supper was served. Keep internally fresh without the daily medicinhe habit—and externally radiant.
