AUSTRALIAN RECIPIENTS ; - . . SYDNEY, June i 1:1. Six knighthoods are included in, the Federal, Victoria, and Tasmanian lists of King’s Birthday honours. The New South Wales list is cqn-: fined to police and fire service medals. The change of government in New South Wales is believed to have been responsible for the absence of other awards. The Premier, Mr W. J. McKell, is understood to have indicated that, in accordance with the Labour policy, the Government does not approye of honours. The Federal list includes: — K.C.M.G., Colonel J. G. Bell, former Speaker in the House of Representatives.

K.B.’s were awarded to Mr A. L. Bussau, the Victorian Agent-general in London, and to Mr C. E, W. James, Tasmanian Agent-general in London.
