ALIENS IN DOMINION
DETAILS OF CONTROL POLICY INFORMATION SOUGHT (Special) WELLINGTON, June- 12. Four points relating to aliens, their admission into New Zealand, and their property holdings are included in a question of which Mr W. P. Endean (Opposition, Remuera) gave notice in the ■ House of Representatives to-day. The question is addressed to the Minister of Justice, Mr H. G. R. Mason. Mr Endean will ask that a return be presented showing how many aliens have been allowed to enter New Zealand during the past three years, how many have been interned, what principles are adopted in determining whether an alien should be interned, what properties have been bought by aliens admitted in the past three years, and how many properties have been bought from men serving overseas or in New Zealand.
