NORMAL SCHOOL
EX-PUPILS* ASSOCIATION The Old Stone Normal School Ex-Pupils’ Association held a social evening last night, at which Mr H. C. Jones presided. Mr Jones spoke Of the early days of the school and referred to the oldest pupil, Mr A, Kilgour, of Kaka Point, aged 91 years, to whom the secretary was instructed, to write, telling him of the activities of the association. The chairman also mentioned with regret the fact that Mr R. Dalton had been posted as missing, and it was decided to write to his relatives expressing sympathy. Items were given by the following:— Song, Mrs Morgan; song, Miss Frances Holmes; elocutionary item, Miss Billie Loan; conjuring. Mr Beverage: song. Mrs Longworth.
