CLOUDY AND COLD Forecast For Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— \ ; South-westerly winds, still fresh at. times on the coast. Weather cloudy and cold with a few isolated showers chiefly on the coast. Seas rather rough, at times. . Further Outlook.—lmproving. Dominion Forecast.—Still rather cloudy and changeable over the Auckland peninsula and in Southland and Otago with occasional passing showers, but conditions improving slowly to-morrow. Elsewhere fair or fine. Temperatures cold. Weather in Dunedin.—Cold weather, with a keen south-west wind and rain showers, was experienced yesterday. The maximum temperature was 49deg, and the barometer fell to 29.75 inches (1007 millibars).
