HOSPITAL BOARD APPOINTMENTS
TO THE, EDITOR Sir, —I wish 19 correct a misleading statement in the report of Mr Dove’s meeting in your paper this morning. It was stated by a member of the audience at one of my meetings that I had apologised to .Mr Dove for opposing the reappointment of medical staff without advertising the positions as is required by the board's bv-laws. I see in the report of Mr Dove’s meeting that he makes reference to the same matter. This is contrary to fact. I have not at any time apologised to Mr Dove for the action I took in this matter. Indeed, I will continue to press for the board’s compliance with its own by-laws.—l am, etc, Ethel E. McMillan.
