White, who were second, also reached the last green. St. Clair Ladies' Club.—The lollowing are the results of the first round for the Wight Memorial Cup, which was played yesterday:—Mrs Valentine defeated Mrs Wrather. Mrs Crimp defeated Mrs Burrows, Mrs Curie defeated Mrs Hallida.s Mrs McEwan defeated Mrs N. Allan, Mis Jobiin defeated Mrs Burn, Mrs St. Geoigr defeated Mrs Deaker, Mrs Allan Jonec defeated Miss E. Calder, Mrs Sherrill defeated Miss M. Thompson. Mrs Cursev defeated Mrs Stone, Mrs H. S. Ross defeated Mrs Coxhead, Mrs Osborne won by default from Mrs Hoggaid. Mrs McCarthy defeated Mrs M. Jones. Mrs E. Bolwell defeated Mrs J. Trewern, Mrs Mvles defeated Mrs Hunt. For the semifinal for the Schoen Cup Mrs M Jones defeated* Mrs Jobiin. and will play the winner of Mrs R. Paul v. Mrs Burrowes for the final stage.
