TOTAL TO DATE (P.A.) WELLINGTON, MayJ^rO. According to a statement by the Dof minion organiser of the AH Purposes Appeal, there is still the best part oi £40,000 to be raised by Wednesday to fill the Wellington metropolitan quot* of £IOO,OOO. The.latest Dominion total is £747,650, made up as follows:—Auckland £170,000; Wellington. £150,000; Canterbury. £102.500; Otago, £79,000; Hawke's Bay, £54.200; Taranaki, £70.000; Nelson, £37,300; East Coast, £26,700; Southland, £25,800; Marlborough, £18,000; Westland, £13,250.
