a» . St Clair Club.—The Single Bogey Hancap which was played on the St. Clair links on Saturday afternoon resulted as follows:—A Grade: F. Duthie, 1 up; J. N. Sams, 1 down; E. F. Mosley, 2 down; N. L. Jones, 3 down; S. E. Crimp. 4 down. B Grade: A. M Jones, all square; W. Wrather, 3 down, G. M. Burn, 3 down; F. H. Elsom, 5 down. By defeating Bayliss and Smith by 2 and 1 Burnett and Boock reached the semi-final of the four-ball knock-out competition. Port Chalmers Club.—The medal matcli played by the Port Chalmers Ladies' Golf Club on Saturday resulted as follows: Miss Milnes 102—36—66, Miss H. Wood 108—36—72, Mrs Wedderspoon 108—36—72, Miss I. Mains 110—36—74, Miss R. Osborn 110—36—74. Mrs Hunt 90—15—75. Otago Club.—The following are the results of matches played in the fourball knock-out competition: Second round: W. G. Wight (2) and G. W Bowron (13) beat J. II McDougall (4) and A. Gill (10) 4 and 2; J N. Lemon (1) and E. A. Lucas (8) beat J. R. Callender (6) and A A. Hudson (14) at the twentyfifth hole. Third round- A. G. Sime (scr) and J. P Cartwright (10) beat K. Ross (scr) and E G. Boddy (12) 5 and 4; D. S. Deacon (12) and T H Brown (20) beat D. M. Irvine (7) and I. Caw (9) 3 and 2; J A. McCausland (9) and L. A Kaye (10) beat E. Partridge (9) and D. E. McArthur (20) at the twentysecond hole.
